New blog

So I already have a blog depicting my life. After spending time with friends I realized that I really want to start a hobby. And then I realized that I already have a hobby, scrapbooking. I haven't done it for awhile, but I've been wanting to get back into it. A lot of people think that just having photos is enough, but for me I have so many awesome pictures of friends, family, and various other things that I can't possibly display them all.

I already have about four completed scrapbooks, but have tons of photos that I meant to scrap. Which basically means I have about three years of stuff to catch up on. I've set a pretty large goal for myself considering I'm already balancing work, school, the dogs, and other household duties but I'm excited for this new journey.

My first goal is to scrap our wedding cards. I got the idea from an awesome blog I read a while ago. I bought an individual scrapbook with tons of supplies to get started. If you're anything like me, you try to keep your birthday cards, etc. but there is really no real use for them. We got a lot of really nice cards for the wedding. Some including beautiful messages from friends and family. To me, having them all compacted into a little book will be the perfect way to display them.

I think the hardest thing I'll have to do is wedding pictures. I have a complete wedding album already that holds all of our professional wedding shots, but I don't have any place for all of the FABULOUS individual snapshots from the weekend. Right now we have tons displayed, but now that we've almost been married a year we've been thinking about printing up some more photos and switching some of them out.

Basically this blog will be filled with tons of photos and how to's on scrapbooking. I plan on taking tons of photos to keep up with the process.
